All property owners in Kenhorst are required to complete an annual real estate registry form by January 31st of each year.
Rental properties are considered commercial businesses, subject to the requirements for all businesses in Kenhorst Borough, in addition to residential requirements.

REAL ESTATE REGISTRY: ORDINANCES #562 AND #595
Per Chapter 358 of the Kenhorst Book of Ordinances, Kenhorst Borough has adopted Real Estate Ordinance, No. 562, which requires all residents to complete and return an Annual Real Estate Registry form by January 31st of each year. Forms can be found and downloaded below or you may pick up at the Borough Hall. Completed forms can be mailed, faxed, scanned and emailed or directly deposited in the drop box located next to the main entrance to Borough Hall.
Kenhorst Borough Ordinance No. 595 imposes additional penalties for failing to comply with Ordinance No. 562.

RENTAL PROPERTY PERMITS
Kenhorst Borough Ordinance #538 requires all property owners to register their property as a rental if they do not use it as their primary residence and have it rented out to tenants. The fee is $100/year for each unit. Please contact the Borough as soon as possible when there is a change in tenants.
